Our Humble Beginnings

The Pierce Family started with a vision in 2007 to offer professional tree care services to their community and surrounding areas. Since that time our company has had the opportunity to be of service not only to our community but to numerous others with our storm and disaster response teams. Our focus after a storm or disaster is to help our customers get back to normal as quickly as possible.

Since our beginning, we have engaged with professional organizations such as the Illinois Arborist Association and the Tree Care Industry Association to educate our teams on safety and best practices in the field. Learning and perfecting our trade has enabled us to become the best customer-focused company we can be. We always strive to utilize cutting-edge technology to ensure your property is safe and respected. Why We Wear Pink

Back in October 2016, we wanted to bring awareness to the fight against breast cancer and celebrate the survivors of this awful disease. A month-long campaign has now turned into a continuous commitment from JT’s to highlight awareness and encourage others to contribute to the fight. Our crews are proud to wear pink! Just ask them!

Where We Are Today

Today our company is still based in Effingham, Illinois and is still family owned and operated. Our growth has allowed us to now have a presence in 15 counties and 8 states, with working relationships with 9 municipalities. One dedicated crew has grown into 3, along with the expansion of our fleet of service equipment to 35. We also have added an ISA Certified Arborist on staff to consult our customers on what is best to keep their trees healthy and happy.

When a tornado dropped a massive oak on her house, these wonderful men removed it from the house and car, then had an electrician they met at another job get her power restored the next day. There were several people who refused to do anything because of the size and position of the tree, but they had a crane and bobcat and went to work! Last month, we had a macro-burst storm. We live in the woods and we probably lost half of our woods plus trees on our house and detached garage. We live in Ohio. We saw JT’S card at our local gas station. We were apprehensive at first not sure if we could trust them but our local tree service was beyond able to keep up with requests for help. We are so happy we took the risk!!! They have top-notch equipment, observed safety, cut up, hauled away our multitude of trees both for insurance and then we hired them to clean up what they could on trees not covered by insurance! They were friendly, kind, professional and very hard working! And they won’t refuse a homemade chocolate chip cookie!!! We would hire them all over again !! We give them 5 stars plus!!!

We had three trees that were rather close to the house to take down plus two stumps that needed to be ground. JT's crew was quick, responsible, and courteous throughout the tree removal process. They cleaned up the roof and grounds when they were finished.
